DSB 2007: Abstracts & Prizes
Abstracts | Prizes
ABSTRACTS should be submitted with registration. Please note the following guidelines:
- Abstracts are submitted via the on-line registration system
- All abstracts should be cleared for public discussion by your department/institute before submitting
- Abstracts are entered in text only format - tabs, bullet points etc. should NOT be used
- There are very few slots for oral presentations that are selected from abstracts
- Numbered poster boards (according to the printed Program) with Velcro dots supplied will be located in the Exhibition and Foyer area. ECR Prize applicants will have a gold sticker on their posterboard; Student Prize applicants, a purple one.
- Posters should be attended during all scheduled poster sessions and at tea breaks to allow delegates adequate time to discuss (and judges to evaluate).
- New in 2007, is the special Poster and Wine Session sponsored by UQ Biotechnology Program on Thursday following the last session of the day
- Poster boards are displayed for the whole conference period, including lunches and tea breaks, and the special, Thursday evening poster session, and so are constantly available for discussion. Posters generate much discussion in this conference.
- Posters are the regular size of 1.2m (H) x 1m (W). Velcro dots are available on the numbered boards in the Ballroom Foyer of the Stamford Plaza.
PRIZES
- Prizes are awarded only to registrants whose work is original and for which they are the presenting author; who are fully registered for, paid and attending the full conference program; and who are working in an academically accredited laboratory.
